As opposed to the blood system, which is closed and self-sufficient, our emotional system is in a way open meaning it feeds on influxes of fresh ideas, opposite views, provoking inquires with the essential need to broaden our horizons of possibility so that a person can further develop and grow. As social creatures, a connection is a must for us: we enrich our souls and mental capacity, process information, and reflect on our thoughts and feelings through communication with others.
Our minds tend to get into the vicious circles should we rely too heavily on the talk in our head and limit the external feedback from others.
When we get into any kind of emotional turmoil, our vision becomes blurred by old beliefs, and unproductive thoughts that we mistakenly perceive as truth. Yet, such subjective truth limits us quite a bit. We usually stay too close to the problem and get fixated. We develop a tunnel vision that prevents us from thinking of the alternative approaches or from seeing the whole issue from a different angle.
Besides, it’s quite hard to challenge our own ideas that seem so perfectly right and it’s close to impossible to surprise our own selves!

Observing you from the outside of your box, coach can vividly describe that, actually, there is life beyond the walls you carefully assembled to protect your ego and false identities from numerous possibilities as well as from connecting to your authentic self.
A coaching session is a safe space to get an instant feeling of presence and to really start experimenting with your authenticity, testing confidence, extending the boundaries. When we are on the way to our authentic self, at first, when trying out our new behaviors with friends, colleagues or family members we can shy away from demonstrating openly our authentic side. Besides, people’s familiar actions can trigger our old predisposed behaviors.
Here, with a coach who has no agenda for you, you can freely try and fail, learn and improve, until a true authentic self naturally emerges. Then you can further enhance the connection with the self, so you are not that easily provoked in the future.
